HEALTH, SAFETY, SECURITY AND ENVIRONMENT (HSSE)
While quality work is what we seek to achieve daily, safety is always first and foremost in our minds. Taking precautions to ensure the safety of both our workers and visitors on site is our top priority and a fundamental aspect of our business. We insist upon following the best industry practices to ensure the health, safety, and security of all our employees and stakeholders. As well as the protection of the environment and communities wherever we conduct our business.
Our HSSE programme is based on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, applicable internationally, regionally and local health safety, and environment (HSE) regulations and statutory obligations, plus additional requirements which are appropriate and applicable to our operations.
We drive our BHC HSSE Management System to:
• Strive towards no harm, and prevent adverse environmental impact.
• Focus our responsibilities toward preventative measures to ensure the safety, security, and health of our employees, and the security of our assets and our stakeholders.
• Ensure the implementation and sustainability of corporate HSSE expectations as a key requirement to our processes.
• Develop a competent workforce and strive to promote a sustainable world class HSSE culture for everyone.
• Focus our eﬀorts on identifying and managing all HSSE risks.
• Meet all applicable industry standards and governmental regulations.
• Hold ourselves accountable collectively for our HSSE performance.
Two of the primary principles included in Quality Assurance are ‘fit for purpose’ and ‘right first time’, which is why the quality of all of our equipments, materials and products must meet stringent regulations and standards. BHC Quality Assurance assists clients in ensuring compliance with all contractual specifications, mandatory regulations and quality standards. It comprises administrative and procedural activities implemented in a quality system that allows all our clients expectations to be met. This is achieved through fully understanding and accepting all requirements at an every stage of a project, from initial site meeting through to final handover. Our goal is simply to be the best and to continually improve. This is accomplished through focused teamwork, pride in our work, quality-controlled systems, and by hiring and educating the best people we can possibly find. You can rely on our ability and integrity to make sure that both your own requirements and those of relevant regulators and other third parties are fully met and eﬀectively demonstrated.
Quality Control at BHC is an integral part of the company, with management and employees being committed to providing a high-quality service by continuously improving the customer experience, human resources, and company operations. The objective of our Quality Control system is to provide a framework for the delivery of high-quality construction services to our clients. All personnel understand the requirements of this Quality Control policy and are committed to abiding by its rules. All BHC employees are fully trained when it comes to discipline and health & safety, with our supply chain partners being regularly vetted and briefed in order to ensure the very highest standards are understood and maintained. BHC constantly monitors its quality performance and implements improvements as and when appropriate as being certified with ISO 9001, 2015 Quality Management System.
